Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SaySoQuote website and web application (the "Service"), operated by SaySoQuote ("we," "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

SaySoQuote helps trade businesses create job quotes using automated (AI) drafting. Drafts are suggestions only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing and approving every quote, including prices, scope, taxes and terms, before sending it to a customer. We are not a party to any agreement between you and your customers.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for activity under your use of the Service and for keeping any login details secure.

3. Free trial and subscriptions

New users may create 3 quotes free. Continued use requires a paid subscription, currently $15 per month (USD), billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe, until cancelled. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period. Applicable taxes may be added.

4. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive purposes; to infringe others' rights; to upload malicious code; to interfere with or reverse engineer the Service; or to resell it without permission.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you provide (business details, logos, job descriptions and quotes). You grant us a limited license to process it solely to operate and improve the Service. You confirm you have the right to use any logo or content you upload.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties including OpenAI (AI drafting), Stripe (payments) and Vercel (hosting). Their services are subject to their own terms.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete. We do not guarantee any pricing, estimate or business result.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAYSOQUOTE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS OR REVENUE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold SaySoQuote harmless from claims arising out of your quotes, your work for your customers, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
